The Swan is a Spheda club and a melee weapon that Max can have in Dark Chronicle. It's one of the 5 Spheda clubs you can get through the game and it's main use is as a Spheda club, it also has the "Fragile" ability, which means that its WHP will decrease faster. You can obtain it in Chapter 3 in Barga's Valley if you manage to fix the distortion by yourself, but if you give up, Monica will fix the distortion for you and you'll get the Turkey instead of the Swan. If you get the Turkey, you can buy the Swan at Starlight Weapons in the Starlight Temple for 450 Gildas.
As a Spheda club, it has a good power hit and you've got plenty of room for error. For the advanced swings, the topspin is good, the backspin tends to backspin more than expected sometimes, and the curved shots sometimes curve a lot more than expected.
