The Ram, also known as Dasher, is a type of monster in the Dark Cloud series. In Dark Cloud, the Dasher is first encountered in Divine Beast Cave. In Dark Chronicle, the Ram is first encountered in Starlight Canyon.

The Dasher uses a club weapon, and will charge toward its target. Attack it with weapon combos. Use ranged attacks if possible to keep this creature at bay.

In Dark Chronicle, the Ram has the ability to charge at its target. The charge is somewhat slow, but will pierce through guard. Its normal club smash attack does not break guard, like it does in Dark Cloud.
Attract the Ram using a gun, ready a melee charge attack, and use the attack just before it makes contact. This will knock it to the ground, allowing additional hits. The Savage Ram is weak to Swords, but the Ram Z is resistant to Sword attacks. All variations are weak against Beast, as well as various elemental types.
