The Froggy is a monster encountered in Dark Chronicle, appearing in the Underground Channel, Floor 1, To the Outside World. It is one of the first monsters faced, and is the first Aquatic type to be found. Each of its later variations behave in exactly the same manner as the Froggy.

Battle Tactics[]
The Froggy uses two attacks: a jump kick attack for close range and a poison spit attack for medium range. Both attacks can be blocked, but they'll pierce through and do reduced damage. Naturally, the poison spit will inflict poison, even if it is blocked.
The monster is vulnerable to a number of attributes and is phased by any melee attack, especially Monica's swords with a high scale stat. The best way to take it down with melee is to prepare a charge attack and unleash it when the monster is close enough (The best time to do so is when it spits poison. If timed correctly, you'll knock it over while the poison passes through you harmlessly). Once it's down, get close and land a combo on it (just don't get too close, otherwise your character will "kick it while it's down" and give it time to recover).
