Balance Valley is a location found in Dark Cloud 2. It, as well as Starlight Canyon, is where the third chapter, The Sage of the Stars, takes place.
Overview
Balance Valley is an unique place in that it has four plateaus that change in height depending on the weight of the buildings that are placed on them. In order to complete this area, the player must complete all objectives while equalizing the weights of the plateaus. There is a lighthouse in Starlight Canyon that is topped with a magical crystal, known as the Moon Crystal.

Georama
Things to note
- You don't need to complete the conditions as they're listed in this page: you can begin with any condition, but some of them are interconnected into each other. If that is the case "(Georama achievement)" is written next to the interconnected condition.
- When you first open the Georama Menu and if you check the Georama conditions, only the conditions concerning Culture Points will be always visible. The others need to be revealed via Geostones.
- There are numerous ways to complete a Georama, because of the liberty given to the player, so only Georama achievements and Conditions will be written here, and they are also very explicit so it should not cause any trouble to understand what to do for each achievement.
About Balance Valley's Georama
Always remember to keep the four plateaus at the same height. While in Georama mode, you will see at the lower-right corner each plateau height: if the four icons are blue, they are at the same height. However if they are red, the four plateaus are not at the same height and you must add/remove things in order to stabilize the four plateaus at the same height. It is suggested you use trees to balance out the plateaus.

When the georama for Balance Valley is completed, you will be rewarded the Serpent Slicer.
Glitches
- (*) The 3 Fruits of Eden obtained through Suspension Bridge, unlocked with Earth-Shaking Demon being completed, must be collected as soon as they become available. Otherwise they may disappear.
- (**) When Crystal Prayer Site is completed, a Fruit of Eden will appear in the north corner of Starlight Weapons' platform, do not collect it before you've entered Looking for the Wind Gem in Chapter 6. Opening this chest before sooner will only unlock 2 Fruits of Eden instead of 3 when entering this floor level.
Shops
The shops will be available when their own Georama achievements will be completed.
Dungeons
Starlight Canyon is the Dungeon in this area. Its Star Path will be unlocked at Chapter 6.
